Premier League fixtures for January 2nd - Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd all in action

There are eight games taking place this afternoon in the Premier League, with Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all in action.


Saturday's Premier League action gets underway at 12.45pm when West Ham host Liverpool in the first game of 2016.

Then at 3pm, six games take place.

At Emirates Stadium, top-of-the-table Arsenal play host to struggling Newcastle, while Leicester, who start the day second in the table on goal difference, take on Bournemouth.

Man Utd welcome Swansea to Old Trafford, with Louis van Gaal's side looking for three points to move them back into the top four, while Norwich City play host to Southampton.

At the Stadium of Light, it's 19th vs. 20th as Sunderland take on rock-bottom Aston Villa, while West Brom play host to Stoke City.

Then in today's late kick-off, Watford play host to Manchester City (5.30pm), who start the day in third place in the table.
